Licensed Mental Health Therapist
I earned my bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Colorado in 2005 and received a Master of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago in 2007. I continued with three years of post-graduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. In 2009 I began working as an individual therapist in private practice, currently serving individuals in the North Shore of Chicago community, enhancing their mental health, relationships and happiness.
Mental Health Treatment Approaches
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
CBT andDBT
When I meet a new client, I make a careful assessment to determine the type of treatment that will be most effective. If the circumstances are appropriate, I may recommend psychodynamic psychotherapy. This treatment approach is effective at working through the individual’s history, trauma or other barriers which prevent them from moving forward with life goals and finally finding a sense of peace and happiness.
